Men’s Church Softball League
Registration: April 1 – 16, 2010
Entry Fee: $325.00
The recreation department will provide a 40 core softball and bats for league games. Games will be scheduled generally on Monday evenings. Tournament will be played on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings following the conclusion of the regular season.
Women’s Church Softball League

Outdoor Volleyball
Felts Park outdoor sand volleyball courts will be available for use throughout the week during the summer except the week of July 4 and the Galax Fiddler’s Convention week. The sand courts are on a first come, first served basis each night.
Coed Volleyball
Registration: August 16 – 27, 2010
Entry Fee: $250.00
Matches will be played on available nights.
DIXIE UMPIRE CERTIFICATION MEETING
Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 6:30 pm at the Galax Recreation Center.
Anyone interested in umpiring Dixie Youth or Boys Baseball during the summer of 2010 for the Galax Parks and Recreation Department is required to attend this meeting. Pay rate for umpiring each game is $25.00/$20.00 for plate/base umpires 8-12 year old games and $30.00/$25.00 for plate/base umpires 13-18 year old games. For information call 236-3218
